Mitch Arnold

Mitch is the president of Preferred Partners, LLC. He specializes in searches for engineers, technical sales executives, and engineering and manufacturing executives.

Founder and president of Preferred Partners since its inception in 2003, Mitch brings a diverse background to his projects. After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with two degrees in four years, Mitch was an English and journalism teacher, as well as a golf coach at Columbus Scotus High School. He also spent a summer during that time working as a technical editor for the American Institute of Biological Sciences in downtown Washington, DC.

In 1995, Mitch moved to North Carolina to begin a career in public relations in the University of North Carolina system. While there, he completed the M.S. in Technical Communication at North Carolina State University, and established a successful NASCAR-themed retail operation in Greensboro, North Carolina.

In 2002, Mitch and his partner sold the NASCAR business, and he returned to his native Nebraska, where he became a founding partner in Preferred Partners, LLC. MoveBackToNebraska.com, an original concept developed by Mitch, was launched in 2006.

In 2008, he was named one of the "40 Under 40" by the Midlands Business Journal. In 2009, he was appointed by Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman as a member of the Nebraska Diplomats. Mitch and his wife Lynda have two children and are members of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Gretna. Mitch is a member of Toastmasters International, and delivers motivational speeches on overcoming adversity.
