Mitch Arnold
Mitch is the president of Preferred Partners, LLC. In this role,
he is responsible for the overall development of the company, relationship
management, and sales and
marketing strategies.
In 2008, he was named one of the "40 Under 40" by the
Midlands Business Journal. In 2009, he was appointed by Nebraska
Governor Dave Heineman as a member of the Nebraska
Diplomats.
Founder and president of Preferred Partners since its inception
in 2003, Mitch brings a diverse background to his projects.
After graduating from the University of Nebraska-Kearney with two
degrees in four years, Mitch was an English and journalism teacher,
as well as a golf coach at Columbus Scotus High School for three
years. He also spent a summer during that time working as a technical
editor for the American Institute of Biological Sciences in downtown
Washington, DC.
In 1995, Mitch moved to North Carolina to begin a career in public
relations, working as one of two public relations specialists at
North Carolina A&T State University. It was there that he began
developing Web sites, which led him to establishing his first business,
Mitch Arnold Technical Communication, in 1996.
During the next six years, Mitch completed the M.S. in Technical
Communication at North Carolina State University, and established
a successful NASCAR-themed retail operation in Greensboro, North
Carolina.
In 2002, Mitch and his partner sold the NASCAR business, and he
returned to his native Nebraska, where he became a founding partner
in Preferred Partners, LLC. MoveBackToNebraska.com,
an original concept developed by Mitch, was launched in 2006.
Mitch's specialities include business development, sales solutions,
electronic commerce and marketing, and public relations strategies.
He is also the author of several widely distributed articles in
the field of technical communication.
He is a governor-appointee to the Nebraska Workforce Investment
Board, and a member of the the State Rehabilitation Council, the
Community Council for the Nebraska Information Technology Commission
and the Omaha Young Republicans. His civic involvement includes
the Muscular Dystrophy Association, March of Dimes and ALS in the
Heartland.
Mitch and his wife Lynda have two children and are members of St.
Patrick's Catholic Church in Gretna.
