Missouri - Director of Hospitalist Medicine position for a new Hospitalist program with a 124 licensed bed facility located in the beautiful lakes region of the Ozarks. This opportunity is supported by the medical community and all of the specialties and sub-specialties are covered. The program will operate on a 7-day on and 7-day off schedule. The Hospitalist Director will be given the leverage to build the program as they want it to operate and be part of the decision-making team. The team will consist of 3 Internists who will share call, with additional call being covered by an arrangement with the community's 6 other Internists. This position offers outstanding compensation, full comprehensive, benefits, 100% malpractice coverage, with 4 weeks of vacation and additional time off for CMEs. The malpractice insurance is also based on the "occurrence model" offering the physician the peace of mind that they will not be faced with a "tail" payment should they leave their position in the future.
