Iowa - Establishing a Hospitalist program with a 300 licensed bed facility known regionally for Cardiology, Cardiovascular Surgery, Oncology, Pulmonology, General Surgery procedures. This facility has a Level II trauma program along with an approved cancer program. We are offer a working model of 5 days on with 5 days off, highly competitive salary, bonuses based on a RVU structure with the expectations of the physician earning $210K-$230K their first year in the position. With experience there is the possibility of a hiring bonus in addition to the total compensation structure. Comprehensive full benefits including full coverage of malpractice insurance, vacation, time off for CMEs and up to $4500 applied towards CME costs, travel, and other expenses. Their malpractice coverage is based on the "occurrence insurance model" meaning, if you should ever leave their employment, you will not have a "tail" to pay.
